Susan King Los Angeles Times 01/16/2019
"Goosebumps" has defied the odds. Most TV adaptations of children's book series have failed. On top of that, it's an anthology, with different stories each week and no continuing characters--traditionally a tough sell in television. Go to Full Review
Michael Nordine IndieWire 01/16/2019
More faithful to its source material than most literary adaptations, the "Goosebumps" show strikes the same balance between humor and horror. Go to Full Review
David Wharton The Daily Dot 01/15/2019
Goosebumps adapted the creepy tales that many of '90s kids devoured by flashlight beneath their blankets. Go to Full Review

While teens can probably handle the scares, they may be turned off by the dated, low-budget film style and overacting that often plagues horror films of all levels. Go to Full Review

Josh H @LazyZombie25 Nov 24 Grungy season has poetic artistry in some episodes. The rest is just harmless fun that doesn't feel out of place with the former. Skip "Say Cheese and Die". See more Elizabeth S @RT91468484 Nov 16 Better Than Squid Game Better Then Stranger Things Better than any Show Ever 10/10 I know Some ones Not gonna Agree with me but This Is My Opinion See more C D @Splatbusters Oct 6 worst acting I've ever seen See more Liam Y @LiamBYoung Sep 15 There are a LOT of classic stories in here from The Haunted Mask to the Cuckoo Clock of Doom this was a fun ride See more Cade H. @cholton Jun 29 I loved this series growing up and still have rose tinted glasses every time I rewatch episodes in October. Goosebumps was a series that teachers would play at school, and I oftentimes would find myself wanting to watch it afterschool. R.L. Stine’s engaging and relatable characters made it a show that has stuck with me throughout the years, despite it clearly being a low budget 90s kids show. See more Ed R @JustcallmeER 01/26/2025 Poor cinematics and do not do the books justice. See more Read all reviews
