Teams of cake decorators, candy-makers and pumpkin carvers compete to see who can make the biggest, wildest and spookiest edible Halloween creations. They may end up walking home with a big cash prize and scare viewers' pants off with some of the most amazing horror tales, all made from cake, candy and pumpkins. A sister show to "Holiday Wars" and an annual favorite, "Halloween Wars" has had new seasons every year since 2011. While the judges and hosts may change each year, the creativity never does.

Jonathan Bennett is back! He is the best host by far, and I was totally thrilled to have him back, however, if they are going to continue in the two judge format instead of the old three judge format, I wish they had brought back Todd Tucker instead of keeping Aarti Sequeira. The show doesn't need two chef judges. Shinmin Li was fine as the food critic, whereas Todd Tucker, who works in designing special effects in movies, judged more on how good the presentations looked in comparison with said effects in the horror movie genre. Wish they'd just bring back the original. it wasn't broke Food Network! Why'd you mess with it?! At least Jonathan & the small scare is back. See more Read all reviews
