Bill Nye and Mr. Wizard, move over. Kari Byron of the popular show "MythBusters" brings her bubbly enthusiasm to this series designed to excite middle-school students about things other than video games, cell phones and the opposite sex. Each episode, Byron presents a wide-ranging selection of scientific experiments, games, and question-and-answer segments that entertain as well as educate. The main goal: getting teenagers interested enough to consider a future career in science, technology, engineering or mathematics. And although Byron isn't a scientist herself, bona fide eggheads do drop in to share their knowledge.
