The tension around a maybe-assassination attempt on Carolyn feels real enough, but it's a little odd that Eve is so completely convinced that Carolyn is Villanelle's target.

"Meetings Have Biscuits" is, by far, the strongest episode of the third season so far. It isn't just about the way Villanelle and Eve crash into each other. It's about what powers the physically raw confrontation at the center of the episode: desire.

Aside from that climactic bus scene, it's Eve's former MI6 boss Carolyn who gets to shine in this third episode. And it's nice to see some proper spying back on Killing Eve again.

Unlike the first two episodes of the season, at least episode three is able to recapture the fun and thrills that make the show so delightful in the first place. Let's hope that the rest of the season can keep this momentum going.
