This episode worked for me from the beginning to the end.

It's good to be back in Mystic Falls...seriously, is there anyone else more deserving of a constant hug than Hope Mikaelson?

Dec 6, 2019 | Full Review…

"I'll Never Give Up Hope" was the worst episode of the series. For a show that had so much going for it last season, I hoped the premiere would expand the mythology in a way that would make it worthwhile.

So good! Love this series! There is nothing on TV like it!

Way much better than the first season.

Only one character made it to my heart this season. The show was boring with Highschool romance (not a drama), and with a lacking of a sense of direction. Only one character made it to my heart- the crazy one, um... Jenny Boyd, she was the only reason, alongside the few murders that happened, that made me give this a two and a half. Boring soap opera.

it's the best series I've seen the movie is full of action and every chapter is important for the story

Good plot and character development, needs a little better timing

I thought that in this season they would leave those silly monsters behind and get closer to the vibe of TVD. It didn't happen. The show isn't bad but it has potential to be so much better.

This show has improved more this season and Danielle Rose Russell's acting has improved so much since the Originals. She not only looks like her tv parents but adopts their habits, their wit, and their badass. You get to see more of the character's struggles and their stories with so many emotions everywhere that you cry.

The series reminds me of Supernatural to a point. A weekly monster while slightly progressing the story is fun and people enjoy it. Some shows push the main story so much that it gets boring. Legacies is a fun show for anyone who has seen, or even hasn't seen, Vampire Diaries and The Originals.

This season started off as an interesting affair that had the promise of being a great story with a great theme and character development. Learning how to live again after death and returning, and dealing with the changes and heartbreak this caused. Instead after the first 7 episodes and several setups for that story line and theme, they used Deus Ex Machina tricks and other bad plot devices to not keep the changes in place. This also made obsolete the entire ending of Season 1 and it having any meaning impact. The main character has also become a Mary Sue.
