Thomas Magnum is a decorated former Navy SEAL who, upon returning home from Afghanistan, becomes a private investigator in Hawaii. A charming troublemaker and a die-hard Detroit Tigers fan, Magnum solves tough cases with his ex-MI6 partner Juliet Higgins, and when he needs backup, he calls on his trusted buddies and fellow POW survivors, T.C. and Rick, to bring the heat. With keys to a Ferrari in one hand, aviator sunglasses in the other and a few Mai Tais on the way, Thomas Magnum is always on the case.

Frans B @FransB Jul 1 Well done. Just do not try and measure it against the original source material. The lead does not possess THAT charisma, swagger, assertiveness, nonchalant flair and machismo. But nonetheless, well written and directed. Great cinematography. Enough action, suspense, charm, drama, melodrama, emotion and some intrigue. Some action scenes does look forced. Whole cast convincing in character and some new direction and content shows great promise, we will see as the series grows I guess? Magnum, the main character, maintains good relationships with all his friends, which makes this series the kind you watch with the family. Each episode teaches a life lesson. I loved it!
