Critic reviews for Untimely Resurrection
Naturally Claire would do everything she could to protect her first husband - even if that means betraying Jamie - but her pleas for Black Jack's life absolutely put another black spot on her current marriage.
At least Outlander continues to address recovery with great care. Mary shares her feelings of shame, and Claire reassures the young woman that being raped was not her fault.
In the arcade-claw game that is Jamie Fraser's life, another coveted - and, in this case, annoyingly smug and deserving of death - toy just slipped out of grasp.
"Untimely Resurrection" was one of the swiftest hours of Outlander Season 2. It was pretty much singularly focused on one event, and that streamlined the feel of the installment. The party was over before it even began.
