Despite the different premise (Paris v NYC) almost ALL of the show is a very sanitised and ultimately unsatisfying realisation of the story. The story itself is butchered, FAR beyond even the guidance of the original film version, let alone the novel. It's a ham effort poorly executed against an otherwise solid, original material. SUCH a waste of effort. Only if you want BASIC entertainment, whilst waiting for the strike to be over (11/23).
