The different phases of male-female relationships are examined as seen through the eyes of young couple Adam and Jennifer. Their friends include longtime-married pair Jeff and Audrey, and a womanizing singleton named Russell. As Adam and Jennifer find out, the often-confusing stages of a relationship can seem like a ride on a roller coaster: Folks can describe it to you, but you have to take the trip for yourself to know what it's like.

The problem with the show, outside of the fact that none of the jokes are particularly funny, based as they are on the sorts of gags you can see coming a mile away, is that the younger couple... just isn't very interesting or amusing. Go to Full Review Read all reviews

04/07/2015 Season 6 unfortunately continues the storyline set up from Season 5. With that, Rules of Engagement experiments with the awkward situation-type comedy, with very little success. But, it's in the other episodes where the show still manages to deliver quality entertainment. Highlight episodes include "Shy Dial", "Scavenger Hunt", "After the Lovin" (this one actually had me laughing the hardest from the series ever), and "Missed Connections".
