Having watched season two and being disappointed by it, I feel like substantial tweaks have been made to season four which have vastly improved it. Go to Full Review

Afaf I @RT55341822 03/01/2025 Worst season ever ! do better . See more Lucy T @RT04751489 02/19/2025 Huh such a boring season everyone had the most stale personality I have ever seen. You would have more fun watching paint dry then watching this. See more Christian T @RT50544755 02/13/2025 FAKE FAKE FAKE DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WATCHING THIS SEASON whole season is fake Prepped food and snacks for the actors and pre determined couples for PR. Just enjoy and cherish season 1, 2 and 3. season 4 is just popularity boost for them. Singles "inferno" more like singles "paradise" See more Gisela K @RT58924825 02/12/2025 most boring season ever 👎👎👎 See more Clover Y @RT75635795 02/08/2025 The worst season ever! They just show Sian and her connections 95%. She goes to paradise everyday. I like the girl but we see almost none screen time for others. We don’t know what people who left in inferno doing. Even couple on paradise only get very little screen time compared to Sian. So we don’t see any connection, interaction, chemistry, what they experienced and we are like in the dark and cannot predict any connection at all. Lately even Theo has like 0.1% screen time. Nobody knows is he talking to someone at all when he left in inferno. Almost zero screen time for Kim Hye Jin and An Jong hoon. Why? Even if it’s simple thing, they should show us. What they eat, how they interact, what they are doing, at least friendship. For example, Song Ji A was super popular on season 1. Even so, we still saw how connection form among other couples. Like Shin Ji Yeon and Moon Se Hoon etc. We could see how their friendship blossomed among contestants too. Now I see only Sian 95% every episode and damn I’m tired of it. See more sam T @RT54406938 02/05/2025 A Snooze-Fest of Scripted Banality and D-List Desperation The once-charming Single’s Inferno has officially crashed and burned with its fourth season, devolving into a cringe-worthy parade of forced chemistry, wooden performances, and editing so choppy it feels like a TikTok slideshow set to elevator music. Gone are the cheeky flirtations, genuine connections, and laugh-out-loud moments that made the show a guilty pleasure. Instead, viewers are subjected to a hollow, scripted shell that prioritizes manufactured drama over authenticity—and fails spectacularly at both. The "Stars": D-Listers Playing Pretend Let’s start with the cast: a snoozy ensemble of aspiring influencers and quasi-celebrities masquerading as “regular people.” The male lead, whose acting credits likely include background roles in K-dramas you’ve never heard of, delivers lines with all the passion of a teleprompter-reading robot. His counterpart, a former K-pop trainee whose career fizzled faster than a sparkler in the rain, spends the season vacillating between rehearsed coyness and the charisma of a cardboard cutout. Together, their “romance” unfolds like a contractual obligation—devoid of sparks, tension, or even basic human warmth. Are we supposed to believe these two are here for love? Or just another round of Instagram followers? No Raw Moments, Just Raw Boredom Previous seasons thrived on unscripted chaos: sweaty challenges, awkward confessions, and castmates bonding over shared misery in the inferno heat. Season 4, however, feels like a sterile reality TV lab experiment. Every interaction is stiff, every conversation suspiciously polished. Even the show’s signature “raw” moments—like the cast cooking together or lounging on the beach—are so staged they might as well be sponsored by a prop company. The lack of camaraderie is glaring; these people don’t even seem to like each other, let alone form meaningful connections. Editing: A Masterclass in How to Murder Pacing If the cast’s chemistry is nonexistent, the editing is outright hostile. The season is spliced into a dizzying loop of repetitive reaction shots (how many times can someone widen their eyes in “surprise”?), jarring cuts, and cliffhangers that lead to… absolutely nothing. Key moments are glossed over, while mundane filler—like five minutes of someone staring at a sunset—is treated like profound cinema. It’s as if the producers outsourced the final cut to an AI trained on rejected soap opera outtakes. Comedic Relief? More Like Comedic Grief Where’s the humor? The playful banter? The endearing chaos of contestants tripping over their own egos? This season is so self-serious it could double as a funeral dirge. Even the show’s traditionally absurd challenges—a hallmark of its campy charm—feel half-baked and devoid of stakes. Watching contestants halfheartedly tug-of-war or recite pickup lines with the enthusiasm of DMV clerks is not entertainment. It’s punishment. The Verdict: Inferno? More Like Lukewarm Purgatory Single’s Inferno Season 4 is a tedious, lifeless slog that mistakes glossy production for substance and fame-hungry castmates for relatable singles. It’s a reality TV Frankenstein, stitched together from the scraps of better shows, and it never once convinces you it has a pulse. If this is the future of the franchise, maybe it’s time to let the inferno extinguish itself—permanently. Final Rating: 1/5 Flames (and that’s being generous). Save your time and rewatch Season 1 instead. At least those contestants knew how to fake chemistry without putting audiences to sleep. 🔥💤 See more Read all reviews
