Xav T @Xav168 Jan 3 A slow burn about demonic forces, evil, faith and religion. Think more The Exorcist than The Conjuring. Intelligent and genuinely unnerving at times. A small town in Spain with a Muslim population who are given an old church to turn into a mosque. They unearth catacombs and by down so release an evil that creates havoc in the town. Through back stories of the characters, we see that evil has no religion and that every faith has its ways of fighting it, even those who have no religious faith. The UK Daily Mail plugged it, probably without having viewed all of the episodes. Shame. I usually don't watch shows that aren't dubbed in English but made an exception because this show was that good! Really liked the positive portrayal of both Muslim and Christian communities.
