Lyn A @lynandrews Dec 24 Yet another British drama which highlights the problems with modern culture. This is not to say I didn’t enjoy it. The Brits do drama brilliantly, but hard working women add stress to family life by putting work first. I understand the financial pressures but markets adapt to culture and the necessity for women has become essential as it was once for men. I was pleased to see the pressures of policing tackled, and the need for law and order. See more Maria B @RT55412664 Oct 12 Really enjoyed season 1-4, but what on Earth happened? Sloppy poor and lazy writing with little research, the most laughable Offstead inspection ever, a Police Officer expecting another Police Officer to break rules and regulations, and getting prissy when it did not happen, an Atomic Police Officer explaining chemicals……. I gave up at that stage. Do the Executive Producers not read the script before filming? I seriously feel as if they just think that the viewer is not important, they watch anything. For example one episode includes the most laughable depiction of an OFSTED inspection I have ever seen on screen. The portrayal of the team leader's developing crisis was very disappointing. Sorry - I enjoyed previous seasons but the basics are off here. As Dorothy Parker put it, I've had a lovely time but this wasn't it.
