Here's the story ... of a man named Brady, an architect widower with three sons: oldest Greg, middle son Peter and youngest Bobby. He meets and marries Carol, with three daughters of her own: oldest Marcia, middle girl Jan and little one Cindy. Tending to them is a wacky maid named Alice. They all live in a four-bedroom, two-bathroom house in the Los Angeles suburbs. The story lines deal with boy problems, sharing bathrooms, lost hamsters, the occasional football to the nose, and attempts at pop music stardom.

Even folks who tuned in during Brady's original run... must have found the sugary series strange to swallow at a time when X-rated movies were winning Oscars and Vietnam dominated the evening news. Go to Full Review

In a revolutionary plot twist that has never been done on television again, Mike and Carol decide the other sex's job is easier and switch roles to prove their point. Go to Full Review

The entire season is permeated by the sickly sweet stench of cutesyness and a sense of family values that was probably just as old-fashioned then as it seems now. Go to Full Review
