The series' second season is more openly satirical, with the hero attempting to prove the pointlessness of commerce by opening a shop that sells useless things-and, perversely, becoming a huge success. Go to Full Review

Test T @TestTest1 Nov 1 I watched this on DVD recently after watching series 1. It's more of the same with the now familiar cast moving the story forward. There are some exceptionally funny sketches in this series which quite often made me laugh out loud. Of the three series, I thought this one was the best because all of the groundwork had been done in series 1, and the story still felt appropriate and connected. The comedy is non stop, and yet feels integral to the story which was very satisfying. In summary, I really enjoyed this series and can give it my firm recommendation as a must see comedy classic. In this season he starts a "Grot" shop and inadvertently builds a successful empire! Classic social satire. See more Read all reviews
