The Great Indoors: Season 1 (2016)

TOMATOMETER

Critic Consensus: The Great Indoors serves up one repetitive, formulaic joke, though the cast performs respectably within the significant constraints of the material.

The show's ignorance feels totemic, though-there's nothing wrong with poking fun at younger folk, of course, but it's can't be the premise of an entire television series, certainly not one with any hope of a future.

The Great Indoors is passably amusing, even if you can see just about every punch line coming.

This new sitcom starring Joel McHale is a kind of self-negating machine: It's aimed at millennials yet making fun of them constantly, and aimed at McHale fans while putting the star in his least-flattering light.
