Jennie Garth's acting career skyrocketed in the 1990s on "Beverly Hills, 90210," and she landed not far away at a Hollywood ranch she shares with her three kids. But before the dated structure will feel like home, it must be gutted and remodeled, a process documented in this HGTV series. Garth is hands-on throughout the project, working with her contractor and managing the budget. "I'm tired of overpaying people to do things; I can do it myself," she says. To save money, Garth plans to refinish the kitchen and bathroom cabinets, and she uses a chainsaw to clear brush and small trees.
