Vince V @RT85153583 09/09/2024 Loved it very suspenseful!! Need more !! See more Rich A @RT08229675 08/18/2023 Just finished episode 3. There is no episode 4? There should have been, or at least given us the new DNA test results. The mystery remains, which is very unsatisfying. I feel I have wasted my time. See more the s @The_Stranger 04/26/2022 Convoluted and unfocused as a series. And honestly, the director produced this series about himself. Not about the killer. He focuses on himself and his story and literally wedges himself into parts of the story that defy logic. The lack of reviews here speak louder than the reviews that exist. I typically love true crime series and documentaries. It's hard to mess them up to be honest. Some simple interviews, review the evidence and the court cases and you've got a story. But when the director wedges himself into the story and points the camera at himself, this is about ego and not about telling a story. As a result, there isn't much here. The story of the murder is interesting but by the time you sort through all the extraneous parts, you get about 2 hours worth of episodes that veer too far off the story itself. See more 01/02/2022 This show made me feel frustrated. The first episode looks at the case and the suspect. The second episode examines the counter-evidence. The third episode then contradicts some of the second episode. It's like the filmmaker is trying to take us through his own voyage and conflicting views on the topic, but in a way that feels manipulative. Meanwhile some odd routes are explored, like a psychic, while other very crucial routes are ignored, like the woman who accused the suspect of rape before the murders occurred. Most annoyingly, the doc ends right before some crucial DNA evidence is to be tested. "Making a murderer" this is not. See more jon s @RT88126683 12/24/2021 In addition to being generally pretty boring, this true crime documentary ends before disclosing the results of DNA testing that could finally resolve the question of guilt or innocence at the heart of the narrative.
