R T @a-plot-is-a-foot Jan 2 Probably great for rug rats up to age 10 or so. If Torchwood is a kid's show for adults, and Doctor Who is a kid's show for everyone, this is a kid's show for kids. As much as I want to love a DW spin-off, it doesn't seem like there's enough to keep me locked in after watching the first season plus two episodes of season 2. I think the show suffers from having been made under the rubric of "it's just for kids" instead of creatives giving their all to craft something they'd be proud of: clunky acting and uninspired direction keep it firmly on the launch pad. See more Daniel H @danielhorner05 10/12/2023 One of the best shows I've ever watched in my life. And I'm so serious. Most likely the best ‘kids' tv show ever, SJA does a fantastic job at tackling mature themes like love and loss, and Elisabeth Sladen's acting is just so flawless. The Sarah Jane Adventures is a masterpiece. See more Read all reviews
