so it's good and I get that it is supposed to be uncomfortable but it is so dark it's a bit of a trudge. Definitely not bingeworthy as one needs and significant break after each episode.

Beautifully shot and powerfully acted. The Underground Railroad makes for difficult but important viewing in showing America's dark side landing another masterpiece from creator Barry Jenkins.

Dont think too Hard about it and it will pass your TIme.

I am very confused by this series. I just can't grasp the message. The themes are so huge so mammoth, that it makes me unable to even comment which is a comment in itself. These are not true scenarios so I question the reasoning for the creation. Is this a statement to say fiction could be worse than the truth. The truth is already bad enough. I think it will stay with me for a while. I have to think about this one.

Please tell me how one of the greatest books in the last two decades turned into this dull dog of a series?

OMG is this show bad. Its unwatchable. I had looked forward to a a somewhat factual story about the underground railroad. A very interesting and under taught part of our history. Instead, the show is a platform to push someone's political agenda who think the underground railroad was actually some kind of subway.

All are so Beautiful... everything on the scenes. Congratulations to all who have involved making this series worth watching.. the tortured are so really inhuman... it broke my heart seeing so many lives have torn apart by this disgusting slavery practice those days... may their soul rest in peace.

More of a personal touch than studying it in school.

Hands down the best Prime original series I've seen yet. So intriguing and so captivating, yet heart wrenching at times, it will take you on an emotional roller coaster. Amazing casting (except for young Ridgeway but I'll get into that later), performance by the actors, set design, writing it quite literally transports you to that dark chapter of American history. Exploring the backstory of some of the antagonists was done really well. The on-screen chemistry between the actors who play Cora and Caesar is so apparent, you can't help but root for their characters to be together and fall in love. I didn't think the casting choice for young Ridgeway was good, I actually thought he was a young Martin Wells at first because the actor looks very similar to the one who plays Martin. Not to mention the mannerisms and such, he seems kind of like an outcast, who were Conductors at the time (White people who helped slaves to freedom). Mostly I thought it was interesting to see a visual representation of the Underground Railroad I had read about way back in elementary school.

Muddled, to say the least. Just finished it, was truly awful as a cinematic production and not worth the time spent watching it.
