I have intimate knowledge of both and I think it is a travesty it was ended. The story lines and acting by all Involved was excellent. This show should have been a road map for reconciliation. Natives have to grapple with ending victomhood and Canadians with ending guilt. This show in my my mind was a great way to mediate and discuss a path forward. See more Per S @RT83737705 04/04/2022 It doesn't take more than a half episode to ascertain that poor writing, directing, cinematography and editing can't be saved by some normally rather good actors and probably the greatest intentions. Even the best of them don't seem to cope with a hopeless script and not very credible characters, and they end up with silly hand and arm gestures and sighs, basic for amateurish soap.
