Considered one of the most successful board games in history since its 1981 launch, the classic trivia game of Trivial Pursuit is reimagined in a question-packed entertainment format. Gameplay takes place on a giant version of the iconic game board, as contestants battle it out over a range of play-along question categories to win wedges and beat each other to the center. The victor then takes on a dramatic finale against the clock to claim the big money jackpot.

It is a good alternative to "Jeopardy!" especially since that show is not the same since the death of Alex Trebek. By the way, I don't like Ken. See more Larry T @Kowalski1975 11/19/2024 As much as I like the board game and admire the great Levar Burton, I don’t think enough of this show to watch more than the one episode I saw. I’m fine with the similarities to Jeopardy, and I think Levar would have been a terrific host for that show like he is here. But the questions are too easy, and even then, the contestants miss them! Harder questions and smarter players, please. And please, more questions, less onstage chatter between host and players. I don’t think the multiple interviews of the contestants do anything but pad the show. Once per player is enough. Are we watching a game, or is this a talk show? It reminded me a little of “Millionaire”, except at least Millionaire uses gaps between questions to build suspense. Trivial Pursuit just wastes time talking. But too late, the die has been cast, and I doubt the show will be upgraded to be a challenger to other syndicated game shows. See more Read all reviews
