Critic Reviews for Two and a Half Men Season 7

All Critics (6) | Top Critics (1)

One of the things I was missing about this show is the genius of its intentional simplicity -- it's not trying to be a deeply complex sitcom.

A strange season really. Beginning with great purpose, but fizzling out towards the end storywise, the bedrock of laughs is nevertheless still there, and Two and a Half Men continues to be one of the best conventional sitcoms on television.

Charlie Sheen and Emmy-award winning Jon Cryer (sorry NPH, we had to throw that in) continue to not disappoint.

Sep 11, 2018 | Full Review…

It's a foul, misogynistic, relentlessly immoral program. It also happens to be very, very funny.

Sep 11, 2018 | Rating: 3.5/5 | Full Review…

The characters, storylines and shenanigans are just as infantile and immature as they were in the first season. What works in this show is that while many shows fall into caricature, this series thrives on it.

All I have to say is: the older Charlie Sheen gets, the more often I catch myself thinking, "Why is President Bartlet arguing with that hot chick in bed?"

Audience Reviews for Two and a Half Men: Season 7

  • Sep 09, 2019
The introduction of Chelsea makes some episodes a bit too formulaic, but Two and a Half Men still wholly delivers six seasons in.
  • Apr 26, 2019
(all seasons) You can tell by watching Season 1 why this was a hit: a catchy premise, great cast and snappy dialogue contributing to a very enjoyable laugh-fest characterized by remarkable consistency. Even more remarkably, the above goes on for a whopping 8 seasons. Yet, things take an unfortunate turn for the worse after that, ranging - occasional refreshing glimpses aside - from the average yet watchable to the completely formulaic and below-par, and culminating with the ill-advised "meta" finale. Winning?

the jokes are getting tired. they just repeat the same ones over and over. like charlie wanting allen to move out. come up with something new. episodes are hit or miss (2 viewings)
  • Apr 20, 2014
The best season of the show.
  • Dec 10, 2013
The storytelling, humour, performances and comedy all fall flat in Season 7.
