Under the Dome: Season 3 Photos

Tv Season Info

The third and final season of this sci-fi drama (based on Stephen King's novel of the same name) begins where Season 2 ended, with Barbie (Mike Vogel) and the surviving townspeople following Melanie (Grace Victoria Cox) into the white light. However, what they thought was an escape route is not at all what it seems. Inside the Dome, Big Jim (Dean Norris), Junior (Alexander Koch) and Julia (Rachelle Lefevre) continue their conflicts while FEMA brings in therapist Christine Price (Marg Helgenberger) to help the people of Chester's Mill. But, Christine has her own agenda with deadly consequences, causing the townspeople to join forces with surprising allies. Later, all conflicts come to a dramatic head as the Dome finally comes down.

There's a difference between a storyline and just writing a load of nonsense. Vote with your remote.

If there was a destination or a point in mind, it's well past the point of mattering now.

The torturous double-feature of "Move On" and "But I'm Not" may as well have been in Swahili or Dome-anese because I haven't the foggiest about what actually happened in it. Are we even sure they showed the right episode?

All things considered, this was a solid, if unspectacular return for the show.

Under the Dome limped toward the finish, all right. But it's because the show shot itself in the foot.

Under the Dome is certainly broadcast television's most enjoyable science-fiction/fantasy series, a summer treat that, while sometimes silly and over-the-top, is never less than energetically imaginative and aware of the history of its genre.

As far as answers go, we may not have gotten the full monty, but an effort was made to drive us toward (hopefully) the endgame.

Jun 26, 2015 | Rating: 6.3/10 | Full Review…

This is all derivative, of course, cribbing from The Matrix and (as always) Lost, but this show is always more fun when it leans into its sci-fi elements.

Audience Reviews for Under the Dome: Season 3

Season 3 picked up from where season 2 left off and focused on alien taking over the townsfolk to form a commune. Nice idea but terrible acting and terrible dialogues.

Should have been a mini series
