BAFTA Award-winning writer Peter Moffat created this six-part crime drama that follows Maya, a successful barrister, as she is set to become the first black Director of Public Prosecutions. She is happily married with three children -- until some shocking truths emerge about husband Nick, a former undercover officer. When Maya learns that he has been lying to her for years she delves deeper into his history. Meanwhile, Nick tries to keep his former identity a secret from both his family and the public. By following Maya and her work, the series explores the controversial issue of race relations.
