Blackbird Broken Wing T @Lilw0lf Dec 10 The Narration alone in this was hilarious. This reminds me a lot of watching Nature documentaries as a child with my dad and adding our own narration that had us both laughing. The complaints that this show is not for little kids is correct but that shouldn't be a reason to give a one-star review. Just because something is about animals doesn't mean it has to be something you can show your 3-year-old. Like it or not nature is often gross, violent, and full of sex. If you watch a show about wild animals, you should expect to see someone get eaten and someone else having sex. The premise of this show was to show a side of nature not often focused on and it certainly delivers. There were moments where I was uncomfortable, but I won't knock points off for that. When Berry was being attacked by a pack of painted dogs, I was worried for him but in that same episode I also learned things about honey badgers I didn't know. Isn't that the point of a documentary? To show you new things? See more Sequoia T @Greensleaves66 Sep 13 Best thing I've seen on TV in years, Delightful and So Funny!!! It’s a simple and dumbed down narration that adds Ryan Reynolds charm with his comedic commentary, showing less seen behaviours of animals, a very good comfort watch! See more Brooke T @RT61467026 Jul 6 National Geographic’s Underdogs had the potential to be a phenomenal family show. It’s beautifully shot, with a compelling theme and interesting and new animal stories that celebrate resilience in nature. unfortunately, the experience was ruined by completely unnecessary sexual innuendo in the narration. It felt out of place, detracting from the educational and inspiring tone the show otherwise delivers so well. I’m baffled as to why Nat Geo would cater to that kind of humor in a nature documentary, especially when it doesn’t fit the plot. It’s a shame. I’d love to watch this with my 13 year old daughter but will not be subjecting her to this. Disappointed in Nat Geo. See more דורון ע @RT10593435 Jun 29 The narration is so bad. Ruining the show. Such interesting animals but seriously- Unwatchable See more Read all reviews
