06/18/2019 Despite the fears of early critics who hadn't seen the show, WTG's comedy never comes from making light of suicide; it's quite the opposite. The characters and their interactions are genuinely funny, and the show was surprisingly warm and very human while still keeping a sharp comedic vibe. Very clever treatment of a difficult subject, and super talented cast. I wish it would've stuck around for a second series; seems it was a misfit for BBC3. Maybe they'll remake it in the States?
