Hosts Rob and Treger Strasberg run a non-profit dedicated to help deserving families transform their homes and their lives along the way. Each episode features a family emerging from difficult circumstances as they finally move into a new living space to call their own. A dedicated team of designers and volunteers transform the family's bare house into a warm home by using goods and services donated by people in the community. The new home will provide much-needed stability to meet the family's specific needs, stimulate their interests and promote their goals.
