American rapper, singer and songwriter Sergio Giavanni Kitchens, widely known as Gunna, was born in Georgia. He started making music at age fifteen, but it was only five years later that he was able to release his first mixtape, "Hard Body" (2013), under the name Young Serg. Gunna went on to release the mixtapes "Drip Season" (2016), "Drip Season 2" (2017), "Drip or Drown" (2017), and "Drip Season 3" (2018), featuring other members of his label, YSL Records. One of Gunna's tracks was even played on the radio of the game series Grand Theft Auto. Later in 2018, Gunna's collaborations with Lil Baby and Travis Scott earned him plenty of attention, as the tracks he was featured in became global hits on streaming platforms. The rapper's debut album, "Drip or Drown 2" (2019) charted at number three on the 200 Chart. Gunna went on to be featured on or collaborate with several other artists during the course of 2020, when he also released his second album, "Wunna" (2020), which went on to debut at number one on the Billboard 200. The following year marked the release of his collaborative album with Young Thug, "Slime Language 2" (2021). His third album "DS4Ever" (2022), was followed by some legal trouble associated with YSL Records, for which Gunna was arrested. After his release, he announced and released "A Gift & A Curse" (2023), his new album.
