Harry Hines was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Hines began his career with roles in the adaptation sequel "Mr. Belvedere Rings the Bell" (1951) with Clifton Webb, the Farley Granger crime drama "Strangers On a Train" (1951) and "Last of the Pony Riders" (1953). Hines then began to rack up a number of film credits, including roles in the Randolph Scott adaptation "Riding Shotgun" (1954), the action picture "The Raid" (1954) with Van Heflin and the Gary Cooper drama "Friendly Persuasion" (1956). He also appeared in "Jailhouse Rock" (1957) with Elvis Presley, the musical comedy "This Could Be the Night" (1957) with Jean Simmons and "Party Girl" (1958). Later in his career, Hines acted in the dramatic adaptation "The Interns" (1962) with Michael Callan. Hines passed away in May 1967 at the age of 78.
