American mixed martial arts expert and Ultimate Fighting Championship competitor Joe Son was born in Korea in 1970, but he was raised in California. He fought in a number of mixed martial arts competitions throughout the '90s and 2000s, but retired after failing to win any major matches. In 1997, he appeared in the movie Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery playing Random Task, a parody of the character Oddjob from Goldfinger.
