Stayer: Season 1 (2024) 9/10 EDIT “Beautiful, deep and intense, this drama is powerfully directed. ” – My Champlain Valley Jan 24, 2026 Full Review The Morning Show: Season 4 (2025) 72% 7/10 EDIT “This season includes a few instances of great writing and depth. However, it seemed that they just wanted to bring people back, like Mark Duplass, without giving them a real storyline.” – My Champlain Valley Nov 26, 2025 Full Review Your Friends & Neighbors: Season 1 (2025) 79% 9/10 EDIT “The show is fun, deep, and emotional. It really shines when it talks about class, racism, sibling relationships, and consumerism. The happiest person in the show is his sister, who is a struggling singer. She is the emotional heart of the show.” – My Champlain Valley Nov 26, 2025 Full Review Mr. Scorsese: Season 1 (2025) 98% 6/10 EDIT “You'll learn about filmmaking and Scorsese but I wish we got interviews that included the negative. When we do hear horrible stories, the director laughs, trying not to offend him. We get a 2-dimensional view of him instead of a full 3-dimensional look.” – My Champlain Valley Nov 26, 2025 Full Review The Studio: Season 1 (2025) 92% 4/10 EDIT “The Studio is so busy being reverential to films of the past, it forgot to say something new about the present film studio system. Watching this series, you get the cringe factor of "Curb Your Enthusiasm" without the insight into the human condition. ” – My Champlain Valley Mar 14, 2025 Full Review Hacks: Season 3 (2024) 98% 9/10 EDIT “Masterful! The writers, actors and directors have all hit their stride and the show is an entertaining joy to watch. You will laugh, you will cry, you will be anxiously waiting for the next season to drop. ” – My Champlain Valley Aug 23, 2024 Full Review Colin from Accounts: Season 1 (2022) 100% 6/10 EDIT “Not a show that’s going to stick with you and make you think about life, but it might make you laugh. The lead actors, also the creators, give it their all showing more vulnerability and relatability as the season progresses. ” – My Champlain Valley Nov 24, 2023 Full Review Furia: Season 1 (2021) 8/10 EDIT “From the moment the credit sequence begins, it is clear this is a series created by talented artists working at their peak. The powerful acting and super-saturated cinematography enthrall the audience in this all-too-timely political thriller.” – My Champlain Valley Feb 28, 2023 Full Review The Gilded Age: Season 1 (2022) 79% 6/10 EDIT “Nowhere near the depth and feeling of Downton Abbey, but the sets and costumes are wonderful. Christine Baranski inhabits her wonderfully cantankerous role, but Louisa Jacobson falls flat as the main character. ” – My Champlain Valley Mar 6, 2022 Full Review Normal People: Season 1 (2020) 91% 8 EDIT “Much braver, more open and realistic than most teen romances. These Irish lovers share their intellect and soulfulness, but not much else. It is in how they approach their differences and the secrets of their past that the series soars.” – My Champlain Valley May 11, 2020 Full Review Hollywood: Season 1 (2020) 58% 4 EDIT “Disappointing failure. Based in an alternative old time Hollywood, this series' offensive stereotypes and on the nose dialogue make it hard to watch, even when classic Hollywood directors and actors appear.” – My Champlain Valley May 11, 2020 Full Review Mrs. America: Season 1 (2020) 96% 8 EDIT “Finally, a meaty role for Rose Byrne. The actors jump in head first, disappearing into their characters. Concentrating on one person in each episode, the series explores many different points of view in this complicated time of change in America.” – My Champlain Valley May 10, 2020 Full Review
