Movies TV Shows
The Hunt: Season 1 (2026) 80% 3/5 EDIT “While the show wants to explore masculinity, guilt, and moral consequence, it rarely tackles them with the nuance these thorny themes deserve. The result is a gripping but often one-note experience.” – Common Sense Media Mar 26, 2026 Full Review Pro Bono: Season 1 (2025) 4/5 EDIT “Pro Bono is at its strongest when it contrasts elite legal institutions with the often invisible labor of public interest law, using social cases to explore how power operates—and who it leaves behind. ” – Common Sense Media Feb 10, 2026 Full Review Rulers of Fortune: Season 1 (2025) 3/5 EDIT “Rulers of Fortune effectively conveys how power circulates through fear, money, and fragile alliances. The seasoned ensemble cast lends the story a sense of institutional rot and inherited violence.” – Common Sense Media Jan 9, 2026 Full Review Man Vs Baby: Season 1 (2025) 72% 3/5 EDIT “While the series functions well as a charming ambience watch, it rarely moves beyond its central gag, making it an entertaining but ultimately slight addition to Atkinson's body of work.” – Common Sense Media Dec 14, 2025 Full Review No One Saw Us Leave: Season 1 (2025) 86% EDIT “It leaves viewers with a lasting sense of empathy, even if its storytelling doesn't always match the intensity of the true events that inspired it.” – Common Sense Media Oct 28, 2025 Full Review The Red King: Season 1 (2024) EDIT “What could have been a sharp exploration of faith and power ends up feeling flat, especially given the strong female leads and the matriarchal dynamics that could have expanded the genre. ” – Common Sense Media Oct 27, 2025 Full Review Hotel Costiera: Season 1 (2025) 90% 3/5 EDIT “The show clearly enjoys placing him in a sun-drenched, Mamma Mia!-like setting, with bursts of adrenaline from fights and close calls that never feel too heavy. Watching Williams swagger through this blend of action is part of the fun.” – Common Sense Media Oct 12, 2025 Full Review Irish Blood: Season 1 (2025) 80% EDIT “This is the kind of crime drama reminiscent of the staples that once dominated cable TV––familiar, steady, and still quietly popular even if they don't generate much pop-culture buzz anymore. ” – Common Sense Media Oct 3, 2025 Full Review The Breslau Murders: Season 1 (2025) EDIT “Schuchardt delivers a subdued, layered performance capturing the moral ambiguity and weary resolve that define the best noir detectives. Gritty, shadowed, and psychologically dark, the show plunges into the grey zones of human behavior.” – Common Sense Media Oct 3, 2025 Full Review Aema: Season 1 (2025) 86% EDIT “Stylistically, Aema avoids meticulous realism in favor of a more theatrical, almost staged approach. At times the sets and aesthetics feel off-brand or even a little cheap, which unexpectedly works in the show's favor. ” – Common Sense Media Oct 3, 2025 Full Review Two Graves: Season 1 (2025) 50% EDIT “By the time the revenge arc peaks with gruesome killings and tragic sacrifice, the story's moral weight has been blunted. In the end, Two Graves leans too heavily on shock and spectacle, making its darkness feel more exploitative than deserved.” – Common Sense Media Sep 30, 2025 Full Review Billionaires' Bunker: Season 1 (2025) 33% EDIT “In a market already saturated with dystopian thrillers, Billionaires' Bunker feels like an unnecessary entry—overly melodramatic at times and hampered by weak performances that make intended moments of gravitas come off as cringeworthy.” – Common Sense Media Sep 25, 2025 Full Review Reminder: Season 1 (2025) EDIT “What keeps Reminder afloat is the undeniable chemistry brought out by Erçel and Arduç, whose steamy dynamic gives the otherwise predictable story its spark.” – Common Sense Media Sep 15, 2025 Full Review Rivers of Fate: Season 1 (2025) 83% EDIT “Its focus on the rape of a repeatedly traumatized teenage girl demands an ethical reckoning: how should such material be portrayed...? While the show intends to expose real horrors of sex trafficking..., it often risks tipping into exploitation itself.” – Common Sense Media Aug 27, 2025 Full Review In the Mud: Season 1 (2025) 100% EDIT “Much respect is due to the cast for taking on material this bleak––the actors bringing depth to anti-heroines or even outright villains. That said, realism doesn't automatically make for excellent television.” – Common Sense Media Aug 27, 2025 Full Review Necaxa: Season 1 (2025) 3/5 EDIT “Necaxa is at once a compelling portrait of grassroots sport and an uneven exercise in celebrity-fronted branding. ” – Common Sense Media Aug 21, 2025 Full Review Glass Heart: Season 1 (2025) 80% EDIT “Glass Heart is glossy and kinetic, with earnest actors embodying equally earnest characters. You can sense the cast's genuine belief in the script; their commitment mirrors that of the musicians they play, who pour everything they have into their craft. ” – Common Sense Media Aug 14, 2025 Full Review Revival: Season 1 (2025) 90% EDIT “Revival finds just enough grit, ambience, and humanity to keep you coming back for the next chill in the air.” – Common Sense Media Aug 14, 2025 Full Review Chief of War: Season 1 (2025) 92% EDIT “What elevates Chief of War is its contextual significance as a watershed moment in media representation—not only telling a Native Hawaiian story from an Indigenous perspective, but doing so with the large scale and artistry such histories deserve. ” – Common Sense Media Aug 5, 2025 Full Review Delirium: Season 1 (2025) 50% EDIT “While Delirium isn't overtly misogynistic, it doesn't challenge old tropes either. The show does a good job looking and feeling like the past—but that doesn't mean it shouldn't take the opportunity to subvert outdated characterizations of women.” – Common Sense Media Aug 4, 2025 Full Review Catalog: Season 1 (2025) EDIT “Despite its good intentions, Catalog often feels as if it's running on autopilot with far too many moments that lull instead of engage.” – Common Sense Media Jul 24, 2025 Full Review Better Late Than Single: Season 1 (2025) EDIT “For some... being single... has even become a gesture of agency or quiet rebellion. The show doesn't sensationalize this; instead, it gently acknowledges how chaotic and competitive our world has become, and how brave it is to admit you still want love.” – Common Sense Media Jul 24, 2025 Full Review Smoke: Season 1 (2025) 74% EDIT “This series is less about solving crimes than just watching something combust. The soul of Smoke is the fire itself: morbidly poetic and viscerally alive. ” – Common Sense Media Jul 7, 2025 Full Review Countdown: Season 1 (2025) 35% EDIT “Characters dash from one high-stakes situation to the next, rarely pausing to catch their breath, let alone deliver nuance. But for viewers craving a straightforward, adrenaline-fueled series, this one scratches the itch just fine.” – Common Sense Media Jul 7, 2025 Full Review Olympo: Season 1 (2025) 43% EDIT “With all its aesthetic confidence, it still falls short of having that sharp, cocky flair that might have made it more memorable.” – Common Sense Media Jul 2, 2025 Full Review
