Joy B. @9mr_0 Jan 20 خلي نتفق على شيء قبل التقيم و هو انا لم اشاهد نسخة ١٩٨٨ وهذا النقد فقط مبني على مشاهدة هذه النسخة. الفلم حلو. القصة جيدة و مابيها تعقيدات لكن تفتقر للعمق الدرامي . اداء الممثلين كان جيد جدا لكن بعض الشخصيات كتبت بسطحية لم يتم التعمق اكثر بجوانب الشخصية حتى تطور الشخصيات صحيح ادائها جيد اغلب الاحيان هي ثابتة ما تتطور بسبب كتابتها بسطحية. المخرج قدم القصة يشكل واضح بدون اي تعقيدات و سردها بشكل مستقيم مع الحفاظ على عنصر الاثارة في الاحداث. التصوير كان جيد و ثابت. الموسيقى مناسبة للمشهد لم اشعر بازعاج وانا اسمعها. بختصار هو عمل اثارة مع دراما سطحية تقريبا. See more Wayne K @RT88290232 06/10/2025 One of many ‘What the Hell were they thinking!?’ remakes to come out of Hollywood, made all the more baffling by the fact that it shares the same director as it’s acclaimed European original. The Vanishing ’93 features a woefully miscast Jeff Bridges as the emotionally detached killer alongside Kiefer Sutherland as the man haunted by the disappearance of his partner. I don’t know how much input director George Sluizer had, but if he was in any way paying attention he would realise that the film he was making completely missed the point of the original, or at the very least misunderstood the elements that made it so impactful. Right from the beginning, the order of events undermines the films tone and its character dynamic. The real subversion of the Dutch film was that we spent so much time with the kidnapper that we came to understand and even empathise with him. Here, we get very little about him, and what we do get is rote and underdeveloped. The ‘93 film is a generic Hollywood kidnapping thriller, with a superficial happy ending that completely undermines what the original was getting at. If you haven’t seen the first one, this is just a dull film that you’ll forget about by the time you’ve gone to bed. If you have, it’s a pointless, meaningly and damaging retread of a story that was told as well as it could be first time round. I hope Sluizer got a nice paycheck from this one, because I cant think of any other reason he would have done it.
