A better film than you'd think, with good, tense performances by Stowe and Quinn.

Audience Reviews for Blink

A thriller with an interesting concept: the single eyewitness to a murder is recovering from eye surgery that corrected her blindness and can't fully rely on her vision to identify the murderer. Madeleine Stowe is tremendous here. Her husky voice and inherent confidence in herself make her a favorite of mine. She gives just the right amount of vulnerability to this character to make her sympathetic when the character is written as almost completely unlikable. Quinn gives his usual average performance. I enjoyed this.

I thought the movie was OK. A whodunit. Madeline Stowe plays Emma who hears something strange, but cannot identify the murderer as she has limited vision. Aidan Quinn plays the cop/love interest and it requires both of them to solve the murder. Usually in this type of show, I can guess who the bad guy is, but I guessed wrong in this one.

Good thriller. Good cast. Emma was blind and had an operation. While she was recovering, she witnessed a murder.
