What to Know

Critics Consensus

A humanistic variation on one of Steven Spielberg's most revisited themes, Disclosure Day's breathless pursuit of optimism in an age of conspiracy gets its biggest boost from career-highlight work by Emily Blunt.

While Disclosure Day overexplains itself at times, in its final moments, the repeated call to action crashes down on audiences with an unexpected and compelling ambiguity. Go to Full Review

Chandra 34m I thought it was a worthy topic, but it just meandered through a lot of it, it took too long to get to the point, and tho I liked the ending, the people I went with left unsatisfied. Acting was really good, effects, etc. Mostly it should have been shorter. See more David R 44m It's not Close Encounters nor ET. It's a mature Steven Spielberg dealing with the issue of "is there life out there" in a dramatic thriller. Reinforcing the notion of conspiracy about it. Will we ever get to have a true "Disclosure Day"? Who knows? The movie actually ends when the question is beginning to be answered. I enjoyed it... See more Chocolateif 48m Nice and suspenseful! Check it out for yourself. See more Brandon 52m Great pace didn’t seem like a 2 and a half hours long See more Rob 1h Great ending! Never a dull moment! See more dawn 1h Don't understand what people liked about this movie. The acting is either terrible or subpar from everyone but Emily Blunt and Bad Captain America. The first two hours were wildly boring. See more Read all reviews
