Bret M. @BretM-3 Mar 20 Fantastic Four is one of my favorite and one of the best films in the 2000s FOX era Marvel movies. It actually does a really good job of adapting the characters into our world. The cast is very good and feels like the characters I know from comics and animation. Ben is the gentle giant who's treated unfairly, Reed and Sue are both smart scientists who double as lovers, and Johnny is a hothead who always gets in trouble, and I see that in all the performances in this movie. It's also funny watching Chris Evans play a Marvel character besides Captain America and still do it well. Dr. Doom is also cool, comic accurate, and feels like an actual threat you should fear. Unfortunately, the worst part of this movie is the CGI, which is definitely a product of its time. A lot of scenes look weird or out of a Pixar movie. But I can't even be angry about that, since they couldn't help the technology and resources available at the time. Overall, this movie is a very good adaptation of the FF. La trama está buenísima y, a mi parecer, aunque mucha gente opine que limitaron la personalidad de Johnny a ser un mujeriego, yo opino que esto lo hace interesante y divertido, sobre todo para su época. Admito que Sue está demasiado sexualizada aquí, lo cual tristemente estaba normalizado en su momento. Admito que es lamentable que hayan tratado de hacer una Familia fantástica "más actual"; me gusta más el concepto de familia retrofuturista. También es muy complaciente ver a un Reed inteligente y autista (lo digo desde lo positivo, sobre todo por su personalidad e hiperfijación).
