This sassy and hyperactive romp can be a bit too loud and boisterous....But it’s hard not to respond to the heartfelt innocence and childlike charms that seep from nearly every pore of this beloved movie.

“Goonies” is an entertaining film and has a cult following of teens from the ’80s, who remember the film well. Adults will enjoy watching it with their children, since it’s a more subdued family film than what comes out today.

This is a movie I will always feel nostalgic about. It epitomized childhood, fun, and adventure for me, and it remains a beyond fun and enjoyable movie, even if some of the scenes haven’t aged well.
