As a former London constable, Nicholas Angel (Simon Pegg) finds it difficult to adapt to his new assignment in the sleepy British village of Sandford. Not only does he miss the excitement of the big city, but he also has a well-meaning oaf (Nick Frost) for a partner. The writing is so quick witted and the pacing is perfect for me. the directing style was so unique and would make this a fun rewatch. The story was well put together and at the same time very unique and fun. The acting was great and Simon Pegg was the perfect straight man for this type of film. I was lucky enough to watch this with someone who is a huge fan which goes to show how rewatchable it is. Even knowing the twist at the end doesn't deter you from throwing it on. I liked the length of the film even though I started/stopped it several times due to my ADHD. I thought the who dun it plot was done well especially because it's so common and often poorly done in comedies.
