See more 11/29/2020 It was the next Rob Pattison's movie to see on my list, and now, after seeing it, I am obsessed with Lorca/Dali love/deep-friendship/whatever-it-was story (I intend to study the matter). Since high-school I found Dali and his art fascinating; now I want to know more about Lorca ... because of this movie. To the american critics who found the movie unworthy: you should get out of US more, go to Europe, broaden your horizon. US/commercialism is clouding your minds. Also, some of you picked on Rob's performance ... now, 12 years later, he proved you WRONG. He is an amazing, complicated, and complex actor - his name is on everybody's lips ... meanwhile, nobody knows you names. See more 01/25/2014 Its a film more about the history of Dali and Lorca than a cinematic engaging experience. The film lacks any dramatic impact but you do learn about these two great artists. The last half hour is very laughable when Dali has is moustache he looks ten years old, the make up team didn't do a very good job here, shame cos the ending would of been powerful.
