Too baggy for its moments of unease to resonate throughout an already lean runtime, Pressure can't quite rise above the level of mediocrity. At least it tries though.

The tension is well maintained and there's a decent cast led by Danny Huston and Matthew Goode, but the characters are too familiar while the plot moves from the setbacks and flashbacks we're expecting to the disappointing melodrama that we're not.
