See more David L @MagicLinckTheThird Oct 2 Slaughter High is a straightforward late-80s slasher with some memorably over-the-top kills—one involving electricity and a couple on a bed stands out in particular. The main characters are so mean-spirited that I found myself rooting for the killer to take them all out. Unfortunately, the acting is downright atrocious, almost painfully bad at times. What really drove me crazy, though, was the lighting. Nearly every scene is way too dark, and while I get that the director was trying to build tension, it just made it frustratingly hard to see what was happening. Still, if you’re in the mood for a wild, cheesy slasher with some entertaining kills, Slaughter High is worth a watch. See more Mr. Blue S @RT10963682 Aug 17 Guilty pleasure.
