06/20/2014 A great "making of" documentary--not least of all the making of working-class consciousness. It gives insight into the torture/trauma of work and having to work, needing money, and into the role of the (prevailing) education system (and family) in reproducing class society/divisions. And it itself demonstrates an alternative/opposing kind of education, family, and workplace. "Theatre is political. Even a big musical. While showing the musical, they are silencing other things." Much better than Billy Elliot. Watch it with La Commune. See more Read all reviews
