Boris Karloff, who is laughably casted as a Chinese detective, is fine but even he can't save this generic-as-hell whodunit. For mystery buffs only.
-
"Chinese copper" Mr. Wong (Boris Karloff) follows the trail of a dead cop and uncovers a smuggling ring in San Francisco. Drained of personality, Karloff stars (?) as a Chinese (?) detective with minimal deductive powers; fortunately, he's given a generic mystery to solve in this insulting 3rd generation Charlie Chan ripoff.

Of the two Mr Wong Movies I have seen, this one is the lowest rated, noticed I didn't say the worst, its not that bad, it just kind of drags out. Guess back in the day it kept our elders on the edge of there seat.

Oh so slow. I bet the earlier Mr. Wong film's are better.
