It's not that Bay's vision for the robot-battle choreography is unimaginative. Rather, he lacks imagination to provide viewers with a way of putting all the pieces together for themselves.

Thank god the Transformers speak primarily in proper nouns--if they hadn't shouted "Optimus! Megatron!" every time they struck a blow, I'd have no idea what was happening.

After five films of explosive, mind-numbing action scenes, Michael Bay’s ‘Transformers’ had run its course. ‘Bumblebee’ was a pleasant surprise, but the latest film feels straight out of a Hasbro assembly line.

It will always be the best live action Transformers movie ever. Michael Bay did his thing making it funny and action packed with his signature filmmaking. It will always be a nostalgic movie that I go back and rewatch from time to time and never get bored.

It's great solid start to the franchise. I really liked the CGI than today, and I have a little bit of flaws here, but this was a good movie overall. This movie is a 7 out of 10. It's a great movie.
