Ben Cartwright is the patriarch of an all-male Nevada ranching family. Set during and after the Civil War, "Bonanza" is the story of life on the family's thousand-acre spread, known as the Ponderosa, near Virginia City. Ben has his three sons, each with a different (and deceased) mother. Serious eldest son Adam hopes to follow in his father's footsteps; middle son Hoss is a gentle giant -- physically strong, but sometimes naive; and youngest son Little Joe is the most impetuous and romantic of the offspring.

Ray B. @RayBrennanFilmmaker Nov 18 The Hunter Synopsis by Ray Brennan In a borderlands deserted Arizona, California, Nevada, Ghost Town, Tom Skerritt‘s character hunts down Little Joe . Desperate and on the run, dehydrated and passing out Michael Landon’s character set a trap. The trap works and corporal the, Tom Skerritt character, guilty of killing women and children, gets trapped in a cell. It’s not clear if the story is in a loop because it starts with him escaping a cell. In my opinion, I would say this is above average film work. there are French influences and some of this 1850 to 1870 drama. In my opinion, Michael Landon may have been exploited by NBC, pushed beyond his limits and forced to work a literal slave. See more Read all reviews
