The plot is a very intriguing concept and was executed well, but in order for L to work, every other investigator has to be dumb as rocks. Also, Light is a genius, but in order for the story to progress, he has to make really dumb decisions, then play 4D chess to get out of it. I answered honestly: "no, I don't, but there's this one show that's caught my eye, it's called Death Note". His face instantly lights up and tells me a thousand times to go and watch it now. I trust him, I put on the first episode and suddenly I'm amazed. Like, honestly, this show was absolutely amazing. I'd probably give it 5 stars if it wasn't that it can get pretty confusing at times. But either way, the amount of creativity and literal intelligence the guys making this must've had is probably too much for me to comprehend.
