Duncan C @Duncanos 1d Dutton Ranch is off to a strong start, tightening the Yellowstone formula with a more focused, character-driven approach. Kelly Reilly is once again outstanding, Beth remains sharp and volatile, but Reilly keeps her grounded with real emotional depth. Cole Hauser brings quiet intensity as Rip, giving the show its emotional backbone, while Ed Harris adds serious gravitas. Finn Little also impresses with a subtle, sincere performance. However, Jai Courtney feels out of place his performance is all swagger and no substance, lacking the nuance of the rest of the cast. Early days, but if it maintains this quality, it could be one of the stronger entries in the franchise. Be loses it a 5 star.
