A comedy with all the right pieces, which were pushed and pulled into all the wrong places, got the time to learn, adjust, and grow... Consider it the "most improved" show of 2019, even if the year is still young. Go to Full Review

It is uneasy about taking itself seriously. The problem is that it can't take itself ridiculously, either. Go to Full Review

Friends from College has found its groove, and is the rare Netflix season that's actually shorter than I wanted it to be - I could have spent another four or five episodes with these characters, easily. Go to Full Review

There's not a plot-line on this show that seemingly can't move forward by the characters getting drunk and embarrassing themselves. Go to Full Review

L. F @RT68678650 Feb 28 I enjoyed series 2 more than the first. While some of the friendships struggled to feel genuine, overall, the show had grown into itself and felt like it was going somewhere... only or it to then get cancelled by Netflix! As a result the ending is very unsatisfactory. Really fed up of Netflix leaving cliffhangers and then not delivering a proper finale. See more Ramona Z @RamonaZee Jan 10 I joined RT just to rate this show. It's one of my all time favorites and I just can't believe it didn't get a third season. Shame on you Netflix! The writers absolutely NAILED the hilarious dynamics that happen within college friend groups (with a bit more drama added for television). The ACTORS are incredible. Each one's comedic timing is perfect, with Nat Faxon (an actor whom I wouldn't even know of otherwise) and (OMG) Fred Savage being the real stand outs for me. The college humor they bring into their adult lives is perfect. I'm 55 now and still have that ridiculous, silly and completely immature banter ONLY when I see the college friend group. Every episode of this show made me laugh hard, even when the situations got real and complex. Added thumbs up for Smulders and Key's Fred Schneider impressions, and the writers for even thinking of that! Perfect show for Gen x. Thanks for making it! Isn’t the point that the audience enjoy it See more J T @UtahRondo 05/25/2025 Season one was much better. This had a good moment here or there, but it was completely predictable and just not great. It really is a show about how to be a bad person. See more Aye E @RT43717499 05/14/2025 This season is worse than the first. This makes me not like people anymore. These characters are despicable. See more Darío Missael R @RT38550846 02/16/2025 Friends from College is hands down one of the best comedy series I’ve ever watched. I’ve seen it more than five times since it premiered, and every single time, it manages to make me laugh just as much as the first. The humor is sharp, the cast chemistry is incredible, and the mix of comedy with real-life struggles makes it incredibly entertaining. I honestly don’t understand why it wasn’t more appreciated by critics or why it wasn’t continued. It had the perfect balance of witty dialogue, chaotic but lovable characters, and hilarious yet relatable situations. It deserved so much more recognition, and I’ll always consider it a go-to show whenever I need a good laugh. See more Read all reviews
