It's Japanese, but without the common tropes of most "Jdramas." It's HBO/Prestige quality drama that just so happens to take place in Japan. It's as much a Jdramas as Pachinko is a Kdrama, or Game of Thrones is an American network drama. Great horror series. Disturbing, heart felt, gripping, compelling. This series needs to be seen by more critics so it can get it's proper RT rating. A must watch. See more Read all reviews
