Our recommendation of Soil is a marginal one, because we’re not sure if the series is going to really dig into the family drama or get bogged down in the entire repatriation business. Go to Full Review

03/20/2022 Quirky and idiotic mania. A father retires from his family funeral business and his two children (brother and sister) along with his son in law inherit the funeral business. Agreeing to repatriate a deceased body to Morocco goes bad as the rental trailer is stolen with a dead body stored in a freezer. Upon finding the trailer they pull the body from the freezer, drop it, degrade it, and drag it over a wall in order to return the body to the origin family. Because Moroccan soil is sacred the family business decides to import Moroccan soil to use for Muslim burials. It is constant tension, arguing, and overall moronic. It's annoying to watch with distracting voice overs, and over zealous embellishment in every scene. Perhaps if you smoked a blunt before watching you just might find enough humor to sit through it all. See more Read all reviews
